What made you want to lose weight?
 
What motivated you all to make the decision to lose weight? For me it was travel. I love taking trips, but the extra weight was making it hard for me to get around. I went on an Alaskan cruise last summer and couldn't go on some of the tours I wanted because I couldn't do the walking that was required. I hate feeling limited that way, so I decided it was time to get serious about my diet.

I had a aunt who was very fat and as a child I decided that I would do everything possible to avoid that weight. Plus the diseases that comes along with being fat.

I was always thin, but as I got older I find I eat less but weigh more then I ever did. I want to lose weight so bad but it seems so hard now.

I have been pretty thin too, but the last 5 years I have gained more then 20 pounds and that scares me a bit. I want to get back down 10 pounds and stay there.

I watched the scale go up and up and up and up and up, until it reached 150..that was the biggest I have been in long time,
And I took control and said no more.....
For me it wasn't all about losing weight it was about, getting healthy. and fit, I used to get winded walking up the stairs.
Now I work out 6-7 days a week, and love every minute of it.

When I’ve started to look so obese and when my belly started to look big. I’m very conscious when it comes to my body, I make it to the point that I won’t look horrible to my friends and family that is why I’ve decided to take a diet treatment for myself though I sometimes forget to limit my meal. I regularly take my daily exercise and fruits everyday. I enjoy being fit now! Have a nice day!

You should do High Intensity Interval Training for 30 mins. Warm-up on 4.0 speed for six mins, which is a nice walking speed. Run at 6.5 speed for 1 minute starting at the 6 min mark. Then walk on 4.5 speed for two mins. Do this til you reach the 25 min mark and cool down for 5 mins.

I felt helpless and aimless and did not know what to do in life. In my desperation to find some kind of objective, I decided to lose weight. That's what made me really want to lose weight. And it's kind of fun that I had suffered from years of people making comments just my size, and that the comments did not mean anything to me. It seems so obvious, but my revelation when I realized I had to do it for me. None of my family or my friends or stupid idiotic comments made. It helped me understand how I had been negligent over the years.

I think what really made me want to lose weight was high school and college. I was tired of being "the fat kid" in school, so I started exercising and I checked out healthytrim.com and a few other weight loss programs.

Figure definitely does weigh more than fat, if you use physics the equation is density= mass/ volume so if you're saying that muscle is more dense and the volumes of fat and muscle are equal.... then density equals mass (because the volumes are canceled out) so if muscle is more dense it is heavier.

I have always wanted to lose weight and I've always tried. I said to myself it will be a day when I stop eating all that bad food and become healthier, but never worked for me. Two days after I started eating healthy I would get stressed out about something and jam some unhealthy food in my mouth. i dont know how many times it has happened to me, but I know it's too many.i eventually want to stick something and be proud that I have done something I really wanted. I'm tired of going back to my unhealthy lifestyle.
