Is it possible to gain weight by strength training? What gym equipment I should use to get more muscles, shape and lean mass?

Weight training is better for long-term weight loss than dieting. The strength training for your legs is a good way to help your leg muscles to run faster. The muscle stays if you keep eating your daily protein, but the strength will slowly decrease.Yes, it is possible to gain muscle back, but if your skin became loose from past muscle breakdown then your gonna have to gain more than before to tone up.

Strength training is an important part of an overall fitness program.Intense strength training preserves lean body mass while assisting in long-term fat loss. People who lift weights and do other strength training exercises such as push-ups and squats may not lose pounds but they shed fat, and because muscle is more compact than fat, their bodies appear leaner, streamlined and toned even when they do not lose many pounds.

It wholly depend upon which part of body you want to strength. As there is different type of exercise for different parts.
